Our Work

The Rippel Foundation is a catalyst for new ways of thinking and innovative solutions that are necessary to address the complex and growing challenges of health and care in our country.

Our flagship initiative, ReThink Health, advances the knowledge and tools needed to support groups of regional leaders in their efforts to innovate and find new ways to transform health and health care in their community. FORESIGHT, a collaborative initiative of The Rippel Foundation, the Blue Shield of California Foundation, The Kresge Foundation, and the Nemours Foundation, seeks to discover how we can better identify, embrace, and cultivate a leadership role in shaping the future of health, as opposed to simply fixing the broken and obsolete system of the past.

With our motto, “Seeding Innovations in Health,” the Foundation embraces its history while recognizing the need to think and act differently as we help to create a better health system.
